Welcome!  The Deep Roots Adventure Paddle Club is for anyone who is looking to paddle with others and explore different waterways of the Haliburton and Hastings Highlands.  Because the Kingscote Outpost is right in between, we can explore some fun places and events between Haliburton and Bancroft.  We would love to have Club Members attend paddling themed events together, and we will plan some cool ‘field trips’ to go with our paddles when we can.  Anyone can join, but youth under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult member.  We would love to see people commit to a membership for the season, but anyone who would like to bring a guest to one, or is only available for certain events can reach out to Corina for a per event pass.  Once someone joins we will add them the the calendar, email list and Facebook page so that there are lots of ways to see what is coming up!

If you don’t have your own watercraft, there is a membership level available that allows you to use a Deep Roots watercraft at a steep discount.

Please fill in this expression of interest and/or register to join the Deep Roots Paddle Club.  If you need to register more than two participants, please use a second form.  **Please note that filling this out is an expression of interest and does not lock you into the membership.  We will confirm that you are in an area that works and like the events we propose before invoicing you for membership.

Your feedback is valuable so that we can schedule a variety of events that our club members will love.  We will call you for more details if need be.  Once club membership is confirmed and paid in full we will send out a calendar invite, and facebook page invitation.  We will also be sending information out by email for those of us who don’t live on social media, ha.

Our first event is a BBQ get together at Deep Roots Adventure and a paddle up the York River on Monday, June 15 (Postponed from Sunday) starting at 5 pm.  
Club events will run until the last week of September, fifteen weeks total. See calendar below for details!

Paddling is a wonderful way to reduce stress and get some exercise, and the Paddle Club will add a social and safety element to the mix!   We plan to take the mental load out of planning, and will, based on feedback from club members filling out their expression of interest, have events planned for each week until the end of September.

Youth or Senior* – 17 & Under / Over 65
Regular Membership  –  $120 
With use of a Deep Roots Watercraft** for Club Events – $420

Regular Membership – $150
With use of Deep Roots Watercraft for Club Events **- $450

Occasional / ‘Drop In’
If you can only make one or a few of the events, or have a guest that you would like to bring, you can register them with the button below.  Please note which event you are attending.  Alternatively, send us an email to register if you would like to bring cash. 🙂

*Youth members must have an adult member with them to attend events. 
**Watercraft must be reserved in advance, and can include assistance with delivery – we will speak to individuals requesting the use of watercraft to determine what is needed.
