Wanna get out on water for some Classic Canadian Tin Boat fishing this summer? Avid outdoorsman and lifelong multi-species angler Steve Lukacic will guide you on the many lakes and rivers in the South Algonquin and Haliburton areas! We’ll be targeting walleye, pike, bass, lake trout, and muskie all summer & fall on some of the most beautiful lakes in the province—including your own lake if you like! Just ask and Steve can show up with a boat at your property, rental accommodations, or nearby resort to take you fishing!

*VALID ONTARIO FISHING LICENSE REQUIRED: In accordance with Ontario Fishing Regulations, participants are required to hold the appropriate fishing license. For fees and licensing, visit: https://www.ontario.ca/page/fishing-licence-fees-ontario-residents

**Canadian residents under the age of 18 or over the age of 65 do not require a fishing license.

Max Number of Participants

Boat can accommodate 2 adults max or 1 adult + 2 children max.

Pricing

2024 Open Water Fishing Rate:

Half Day – 3 Hours – $444 +HST

Full Day – 6 Hours – $606 +HST *Plus a 1 hour lunch break

*All rates include 2 adults Max or 1 adult and 2 small children. (Restricted by boat seating.)

Weather appropriate clothing for the day you plan to be out

Sunhat/Sunglasses
Bug Repellant (esp. in spring)
Sunblock
Snacks or lunch depending on what time you are going.
Small Bag for transporting items
*Sunblock, bug repellant, sunglasses and other things are available in our retail shop if you forget anything.

What About The Weather?

You should check the weather the day before to ensure you dress appropriately. (Be sure to enter the nearest town name to the lake you are planning to visit, i.e. Harcourt, Bancroft etc.) As weather is so changeable, and is often predicted differently one day to the next, we ask that you don’t look at it too far in advance. Unless there’s thunderstorms or other severe weather fishing charters run rain or shine.

Q. Is this an appropriate experience for beginners? A. Yes! This is a great experience for beginners!
Q. Is this trip not recommended for anyone? A. Yes, persons with mobility issues may have a difficult time in the boat, please contact us to discuss accommodation and to ensure you will be comfortable.
Q. Can I bring my pet? A. No, pets are not able to join in on this experience. If you have a registered service animal please reach out to our team so we can discuss accommodation.

Cancellation/Refunds

Refund Policy

PLEASE BE ADVISED that we will only issue a 50% refund for cancellations within 72 hours of your reservation, and there is no refund available if you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled rental or event.
